Behavior Consultations

Behavior Consultations

This appointment takes place at Companion Pet Behavior Solutions.

During this appointment a detailed behavioral history and analysis of your pet will be collected. We will then work together with your veterinarian (if needed) to collaborate and create a personalized problem prevention/treatment plan to address the behaviors.

A behavior consultation includes:

  • An appointment that is scheduled for up to 2 hours.

  • A detailed and complete behavioral assessment of your pet

  • A multi-step plan that includes: a to be completed section, medications and supplements section, behavior modification and training section, and management section.

  • Lifetime access and support for your pet.

At the end of the initial appointment you will implement the recommended plan for your pet for 6-8 weeks. At the end of that time period we will then have a follow-up appointment to discuss how your pet is doing and what adjustments/next steps need to be.

Appointments are offered both in-person at Companion Pet Behavior Solutions and virtually (upon request).

Aggression concerns, anxiety concerns, stress, compulsive behaviors, etc.. are more than just training issues, and therefore, underlying cause must be addressed first for training to be successful.
